Today's quest: Easy-peasy! Just have to use one or two brain cells to get through the baddies. I'm liking the humor they put into it. I give it a 8/10, no challenge knocks it down a little.

BTW: Characters do not need to be ascended/weh no shu/whatever to do the quests!

So their will be more? do we have to wait until tomorrow then? Oh and the reward was okay just wish it was more.
lol I having never gone to that part of UW before I made it easily with the yellow pings.

Have you seen the skills you have? Theres a skill that makes everything in spirit range friendly.

I'd hardly call it a long run.

On a scale of 10 (1 being the easiest), I'd give it a 1.

So this quest can be repeated for free tonics and ToT bags, yes?

1. Create Nightfall or Prophecies character.
2. Run or get a ferry to Lion's Arch.
3. Run to Temple of Ages.
4. Run to King Frozenwind.
5. Deposit reward in storage and delete character.
6. Go back to 1.

It's probably not too efficient though. It's too bad chests don't spawn, because this would be extremely easy to chest run in Underworld.

The whatever is "killed a cave of insects". The Gods kind of let you slip in easy in Nightfall...

I loved the quest BTW. I don't see why people complain about it being too easy. There are many Holiday quests even easier than this one.

Halloween quests are not daily. There are multiple quests spanning the course of the event, but not one for each day. Just check in with the steward every so often.

Sooo. There are multiple quests but they are just being released on a time delay? Aka by the end of the event, he will have many different quests for you to take?

Wow, easy quest. But still, an "omgsquee" moment getting the quest. Grats, Daniel! So will we see the Mad Queen too? Can't wait to find out.

I think you misread that. As I understand it, there are less quests than days.

They're fun at any rate, I don't care how often they come around.

It's also nice seeing free ToA runs + free tonic giveaways in LA

Anet, hats off for referencing the UWSC fiasco...

That just made my day.

Fantastic. A lore explanation for that hall that everybody has been speculating about for years.

And an in game lore reason to nerf UWSC (I think). This is going to be Queen Kephlat all over again.

There are actually problems with the pings. Once you've ran past them, they ping from behind. If you didn't know where the hell you were going, you might get confused. The pings don't do a very good job of showing where you should continue going. They ping after you've hit the area or they don't ping enough to show you where you should go.

Anyway...Very..short quest. Im guessing theyre rationing the quests since they all must be this simple...

I wouldnt hold out on a total revamp of UW...let alone a new area. The design team has bitched about what it would take for such. Clearly they dont want to be bothered.

Im guessing the "this year only" thing implies Grenth or Dhuum will be killed for good.

I thought I was the only one who actually read the quest text and noticed this. This is what I love about ANet; when something like this happens, they don't toss out random nerfs, no, they implement a quest chain that'll give a damn good lore reason why the UW should no longer be solo-able.

I'm really hoping that's what'll happen, This chain leading to some grand finale wherein Dhuum 'reforms' the UW with his own personal sadistic (read: non-targeted enchantment removing) touch.

I think it'd be pretty silly if Grenth ended up dying, so my bet is on Dhuum going bye-bye.
